Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of corporeal imagery in the lyrical works of G. Adamovich based on his collection of poems “Purgatory”. The category of corporeality is one of the key categories in the poetic discourse of the Acmeists, in this regard, the purpose of this work is to identify the dominant corporeal features of the poetics of G. Adamovich’s work in relation to the semantic invariant of Acmeist aesthetics. The study is focused on a structural approach to the interpretation of a work of art and is based on a combination of structural and motive methods of analysis. The results of the study prove that the models of the main tropes are constructed based mainly on perceptual corporeal imagery and individual perceptual impressions of the subject of speech.
