Abstract

The purpose of the study: to consider the advantages and disadvantages of the transition to digital forms of identity documents in Russia. The purpose of the integration of electronic identity documents, the main reasons for their digital transformation is identified, defined a number of advantages over traditional paper documents. The main result of the work is associated with the identification of a number of risks associated with the digital transformation of identity documents.
