Aims and Scope

Journal focuses on methodological and theoretical issues of interdisciplinary, economic, institutional (including social issues) research. Reviews on the Russian and foreign theoretical research are published. Papers that continue or begin the discussion both papers published in "Issues of Economic Theory" and other Russian or foreign journals  are welcome. We welcome papers both in Russian and English.

The journal "Issues of Economic Theory" is included in the list of the Higher Attestation Commission
in the following specialties:

Peer Review Process

Decision to publish a paper is made based on double anonymous peer review. When deciding on publication, the only criterion is the quality of the work - originality, importance and validity of the results, clarity of presentation. The author's affiliation with one or another social movement, a particular political trend, will not influence the decision to publish or reject the paper.

1. Paper must be drawn up according to the rules specified on the website of the journal http://questionset.ru/. Papers are accepted only in electronic form.

2. The article should be sent to editorqet@gmail.com or via the article submission service.

3. The Journal reviews all materials submitted to the editorial office for the purpose of their expert assessment. If the paper does not correspond to the problems and standards of the journal, the editorial board sends the authors a reasoned refusal to publish. If the manuscript meets the requirements for compliance (including formatting standards), articles are to send for review. 

4. The reviewer prepares a review within a month in the form indicated in the appendix. If the deadline is not met, the editor-in-chief can send the paper to another reviewer (including - to apply for reviewing to one of the members of the editorial board).

5. All reviewers are recognized experts about peer-reviewed materials and have, over the past 3 years, publications disscussing the topics similar to the peer-reviewed paper.

6. In case of a negative review, the editor-in-chief can to engage an additional external reviewer within the same time frame (additional 1 month).

7. Received (and signed by experts) reviews are transferred to the National Electronic Library in accordance with the agreement (the agreement between the NEL and the founder of "Issues of Economic Theory" is attached), where they are stored in a closed access mode.

8. Reviews are also sent to the authors of the paper after the preliminary removal of the data on the reviewers from the texts.

9. Reviews are stored in the editorial office for 5 years, and are also posted on the portal https://www.elibrary.ru/defaultx.asp, where they are available to authoritative experts to assess the quality of reviewing.

10. The editorial office undertakes to send copies of the reviews to the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation upon receipt of the corresponding request to the editorial office.

Open Access Policy

The "Issues of Economic Theory" provides direct open access to its materials, based on the principle of increasing the global exchange of knowledge through the provision of free open access to research results.

The open access policy follows the definition of the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) and means that articles are available in the public domain on the Internet. This allows all users to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search or reference to the full texts of these articles, scan them for indexing, transfer them as data to software, or use them for any other lawful purpose without financial, legal or technical barriers, except for those that are inseparable from gaining access to the Internet itself.
