Abstract

from a physiological point of view, surgical operations cause patients to experience multicomponent stress, as the functions of vital systems and organs are disrupted in humans. Being in bed rest during the postoperative period, patients are in a state of hypokinesia, that is, reduced motor activity. That is why in modern science it is considered relevant to manage patients after surgery as part of rehabilitation measures. Various rehabilitation techniques are actively used for rehabilitation within the framework of abdominal rehabilitation, which will be discussed in this article. Initially, the author of the article investigated the concept of neuroabdominal recovery. Further in the article, the features of the abdominal recovery technique were studied by D.R. Yagudin. Then the author considered and defined the role of visceral (abdominal) massage as a technique of neuroabdominal recovery. Based on the theoretical analysis, the author of the article has developed a model of neuroabdominal recovery of patients. Based on the conducted research, D.R. Yagudin suggests the following definition of patients' neuroabdominal recovery. Neuroabdominal recovery should be understood as a method of rehabilitation measures for the patient, which involves the integrated use of recovery tools: medications, neurobiological rehabilitation tools, as well as the use of visceral (abdominal) abdominal massage.
