Psychodiagnostics of the level of sustainable formation of professional readiness of first-year medical university students

in the context of the active modernization of the educational process in medical universities, rather high requirements are placed on the quality of students' training as future medical specialists. The article analyzes the results of a psychodiagnostic study of the level of development of students' readiness for professional medical activity. The study identified factors that reduce the degree of readiness of first-year medical university students for professional activity. The purpose of the study is to study the level of development of professional readiness of first-year medical university students for professional activity. The psychodiagnostic study was conducted using the SIOB methodology (self-assessment of the individual characteristics of first-year students), developed by L. N. Kabardova and V. K. Oshe and adapted by specialists from the Department of Philosophy and Psychology with bioethics courses. When adapting the test material, the personal qualities of modern first-year students were taken into account. The survey was conducted in an anonymous questionnaire format. The sample group consisted of 100 first-year students of the medical University studying at the dental, medical, pharmaceutical, pediatric faculties, as well as at the Faculty of Clinical Psychology. The results obtained can be used in the distribution of first-year students by faculties, and then by specialties, taking into account their personal characteristics, needs and motives. In the course of a psychodiagnostic study, a number of factors have been identified that hinder the development of stable readiness of first-year medical university students for professional medical practice. The authors of the article note the role of the Psychological Support Center (PSC), which operates on the basis of the Tver State Medical University of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation. The PSC plays an important role in the professional development of students and performs a number of tasks aimed at increasing the level of students' motivational activity, as well as their professional readiness.
