PhD, is Associate Professor at the Faculty of Islam Nusantara, Nahdlatul Ulama University of Indonesia, Jakarta, Indonesia. He graduated from the Doctoral Program of Humanities Sciences, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Universitas Gadjah Mada. His research interests include language, religious issues and “linguistic violence”. He has published a number of papers. columns and essays in print and online scientific journal and national media.
