The journal "Problems of branch economics" contributes to the development of scientific cooperation, including with scientists from neighboring countries, and allows for an exchange of views on sustainable economic development of enterprises, regions, and industries. Indexing: RSCI. The journal contains three thematic sections: Economics of Industry Markets, Economics of Regions, and Economics of Enterprises. The original articles published in the journal outline the positions of both reputable members of the academies of sciences, well-known scientists in the field of economics, and young researchers. The journal aims to promote the development of a complex of economic disciplines, as an important branch of humanitarian knowledge, by highlighting and discussing the results of fundamental and applied research, as well as the accumulated experience in using the results of relevant scientific activities. The materials can be useful to representatives of regional and municipal authorities, the business community, researchers in the field of regional, sectoral and corporate economics, and people interested in the socio-economic development of society.

The manuscripts of scientific articles submitted to the editorial office are subject to mandatory peer review for the purpose of their expert evaluation. The editor-in-chief determines whether the article's manuscript meets the journal's profile and design requirements. After reviewing the manuscript of the article at a meeting of the editorial board, the manuscript is sent for review to a specialist (doctor or candidate of sciences) with the closest scientific specialization to the topic of the article. All reviewers are recognized experts on the subject of peer-reviewed materials and have published on the subject of peer-reviewed articles over the past 3 years. If the article does not correspond to the profile of the journal, the author is informed about the impossibility of its publication. The type of review is two—way blind (anonymous). The manuscripts sent to the reviewers are the private property of the authors and contain information that is not subject to disclosure. Reviewers are not allowed to make copies of articles, as well as transfer articles to another person for review. The review period is no more than four weeks. The reviewer evaluates: ‒ matching the content of the article to its title;

‒ the structure of the article (the subject of the study, the statement of the task, the course of research, the results and conclusions);

‒ the presence of scientificortechnicalnoveltyin the article; ‒advantagesanddisadvantages of the article.

‒ The reviewer gives an opinion on the expediency of publishing the article: ‒ accept the article;

‒ accept the article with minor revision — the text of the review is sent to the author with a proposal to make the necessary changes and additions to the article or to refute the reviewer's comments in a reasoned manner, then the manuscript of the article is reviewed at a meeting of the editorial board to meet the reviewer's requirements.;

‒ review the article again after serious revision — the text of the review is sent to the author with a proposal to revise the article, then the article revised by the author is sent for re-review;

‒reject the article— a reasonedrefusal is sent to the author, the article is notacceptedforreconsideration.

The text of the review is provided to the author upon his request, as well as to the Higher Attestation Commission of the Russian Federation upon request, without a signature and indicating the surname, position and place of work of the reviewer. The reviews, as well as all accompanying documents (author's statement, expert opinion) are kept in the Publishing House and in the editorial office of the journal for 5 years. The procedure for reviewing and approving articles takes from one to two months, then the articles are published in the order of priority. The Editorial board may decide on the extraordinary publication of the article. The preparation of the article for publication, carried out by the editorial board of the journal, consists of literary and technical editing. Editorial changes are agreed with the authors.

Ethical principles of the author

The author provides the results of his personal research for publication and explicitly defines his personal contribution to the study of the problem posed in the article. The author bears full responsibility for the information contained in the article.

The author confirms that his article is being published for the first time, and also does not contain plagiarism in any form. Plagiarism refers to quoting and using any form of graphical representation of information without specifying the source. All manuscripts received by the editorial board are checked in the Anti-Plagiarism system.

The author undertakes not to publish the submitted manuscript in other publications, and to notify the editorial board of the transfer to another publication.
