Peer Review Process
1. All manuscripts of articles received by the Publishing Committee are checked by the ANTIPLAGIAT system. The originality of the manuscript should be at least 75%.
2. All scientific articles submitted to the online periodical journal “Aerospace Engineering and Technology” are required mandatory peer review.
3. Review of articles is conducted directly in the editorial office of the journal.
4. Scientific editor shall submit manuscript for review to the specialist with the closest scientific qualification to the subject of the article.
5. Reviewers are specialists in the field of reviewed materials, which have published in this area over the last 3 years.
6. The period of reviewing is 30 days.
7. The review should cover the following:
- relevance of the issues under consideration;
- scientific novelty of the proposed solutions (in articles by candidates for degrees and titles);
- a critical review of the article, including comments and suggestions for improvement;
- a recommendation that the article should be published: “recommended”, “recommended, subject to correction of the shortcomings noted” or “not recommended”.
8. The review is conducted anonymously.
9. If the review contains recommendations for correction and improvement of the article, the editorial board sends the text of the review to the author by e-mail with a proposal to consider the recommendations when preparing a new version of the article or to refute them with arguments. In the case of a negative review, the article can be sent to another specialist for a second review.
10. In case of rejection of the article from publication, the editorial board sends the author a reasoned refusal.
11. After making a decision on the admission of the article for publication, the Editorial Board informs the author about it and specifies the publication dates.
12. Certified copies of the reviews are kept in the editorial office of the journal for 5 years.
13. Upon request, the Editorial Board provides copies of the reviews to the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.
