Editorial Policies
Aims and Scope
The peer-reviewed scientific journal “Bulletin of Economics, Management and Law” is published as an electronic edition, registered with Roskomnadzor (Certificate: El No. FS77-88438 of 21.10.2024).
The main objectives of the journal:
- Reflection of the results of scientific research, scientific-practical and innovative activities of scientists, postgraduate students and applicants, as well as faculty and research workers of universities and scientific organizations in Russia, near and far abroad countries;
- formation of open scientific polemics, contributing to the improvement of the quality of scientific research, efficiency of expertise of scientific works;
- ensuring transparency and openness in the reflection of scientific problems of both individual researchers and research teams.

Peer Review Process
- The edition carries out reviewing of all materials coming to the editorial office, corresponding to its subject, for the purpose of their expert evaluation. The article is accepted for review only if it meets the requirements for the author's original articles (materials) posted on the journal's website.
- Forms of reviewing articles:
- internal (review of article manuscripts by members of the Editorial Board);
- external (sending manuscripts of articles to leading experts in the relevant field for review).
Type of reviewing: unilateral blind review.
The executive secretary (editor) determines the compliance of the article with the journal profile, requirements to the design and sends it for review to the specialist who has the closest scientific specialization or sphere of scientific interests to the subject of the article.
The reviewer can be a member of the Editorial Board or an external reviewer. All reviewers are recognized experts on the subject of the reviewed materials and have publications on the subject of the reviewed article within the last 3 years.
- The reviewer should consider the sent article within 2 to 4 weeks from the moment of receipt and send to the editorial office (by e-mail) a motivated refusal to review or a prepared and signed review.
The review should cover the following issues:
- whether the content of the article corresponds to the topic stated in the title;
- whether the article is relevant and corresponds to the current achievements in science and scientific specialty;
- whether the article is accessible to the readers it is intended for in terms of language, style, terminology used, arrangement of material, etc;
- scientific novelty of the article and expediency of its publication taking into account previously published literature on the subject;
- what exactly are the positive aspects and shortcomings of the article, what corrections and additions should be made by the author;
- conclusion about the possibility of publishing this manuscript in the journal: “recommended”, “recommended taking into account the correction of shortcomings noted by the reviewer” or “not recommended” for publication in the journal.
- After receiving the review, the Editor-in-Chief decides whether to publish or not to publish the article.
If the article can be published after revision / taking into account the comments - recommendations for revision / removal of comments are given, if the article is not accepted for publication - the reasons for such a decision are given.
- The article sent by the author to the editorial office after removal of remarks is considered in the general order. A note is made in the registration journal about the date of receipt of the new version of the article.
In case of rejection of the article from publication, the editorial office sends a motivated refusal to the author.
- The article not recommended for publication by the reviewer is not accepted for reconsideration. The text of the negative review is sent to the author by e-mail.
- The presence of a positive review is not a sufficient basis for publication of the article. The final decision on the expediency of publication is made by the Editorial Board (Editor-in-Chief).
After the decision to admit the article for publication is made, the executive secretary (editor) informs the author and indicates in which issue the article will be published.
- All reviews are kept in the publishing house and in the editorial office of the journal for 5 years. The editorial office sends copies of reviews or a reasoned refusal to the authors of the submitted materials, and also undertakes to send copies of reviews to the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation when the editorial office receives a corresponding request.
- The editorial board reserves the right to edit articles and shorten the material.

The advantages of Open Access are maximum availability of Your publication, preservation of copyright, increasing the citation of the article, fulfillment of the conditions of grants. All published articles are placed in the public domain on the website of the publication in the section «Archive», as well as on the website of Scientific electronic libraries of RSCI and CyberLeninka, which allows you to make your scientific article available to a wide range of readers and increase its citation.
