Test results of the first domestic glandless scroll refrigeration compressors on a calorimetric stand

Abstract

Test results of a scroll compressor are presented, its applications are recommended. The characteristics of the studied compressors andforeign counterparts are compared. Comparison of characteristics of scroll compressors has shown that as to the energy parameters, the domestic compressors are on the same level with their foreign counterparts. The compressor is suitable for use in refrigerating machines working on R22 with evaporating temperature range from —25 to +5 °C and condensation temperatures up to 50 °C, as well as in industrial air conditioners. To reduce the discharge temperature it is necessary to supply liquid refrigerant into the pressure space of the compressor.
