AOOT TORGMASH: from the anniversary of the head to the anniversary of the enterprise

On January 10, 2000, Oleg Alekseevich SHIKEROV, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Yekaterinburg OAO Torgmash, turned 60 years old.
The biography of Oleg Alekseevich Shikerov is closely connected with the history of one of the oldest enterprises in our country - OAO Torgmash. Oleg Alekseevich Shikerov came to the plant in 1986, having worked before that for twenty years at one of the leading enterprises in the Sverdlovsk region - the Turbine Engine Plant named after. K. E. Voroshilov, at the same time for eight years he headed the branch of the All-Union Design and Technology Institute (formerly Leningrad).
Oleg Alekseevich is an experienced production worker, an excellent organizer, a person with a broad outlook, high professional qualities, and deep technical knowledge. In a difficult period for the plant, he was able to rally the team and mobilize it for well-coordinated work in a short time. Shikerov's high organizational skills allowed the plant staff to achieve significant success. At the initiative of the director, the reconstruction of existing workshops began and the construction of new workshops began. Modern machines for pouring polyurethane foam, numerically controlled machines, injection molding machines with a large injection volume were purchased, a project was developed for the complete reconstruction of the enterprise and the construction of housing for the plant's employees. From 1998 to the present, Oleg Alekseevich SHIKEROV manages the company's development strategy as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Torgmash Open Joint Stock Company.
