Abstract
From April 17 to April 21, 2000, the 10th International Exhibition "Electrical Appliances and Home Goods" ("CEM-2000") was held at the exhibition complex on Krasnaya Presnya. The organizers of the exhibition are COMTEK INTERNATIONAL (USA), CROCUS INTERNATIONAL (Russia) and ZAO Expocentre.
The exhibition featured household appliances and household goods from Russia and the USA, Europe and Asia.
Out of 48 participants, only 5 Russian wholesale companies (domestic and imported models) and 2 manufacturing plants - the Krasnoyarsk Biryusa Refrigerator Plant and the Zelenodolsk Production Association Sergo Plant (POZIS) - offered household refrigeration equipment (BHT). There was not a single enterprise from the former Soviet republics at the exhibition.
