Abstract
In the article of the review nature the peculiarities of refrigerating machines based on Stirling cycle are considered as well as their benefits, possibility of use in the technique of moderate refrigeration, experience of use in cryogenic engineering and for development of heat pumps. Current level and prospects of development and use of a domestic refrigerating Stirling machine are considered.
