Abstract
Transnational corporations are the main drivers of globalization and regionalization, and their influence on the global economy is growing. Due to the development of ‘translatinas’, which have managed to accumulate capital and take their place in a set of economic sectors, Latin American states received a chance to break out of the trap of developing countries. The authors analyze the impact of such companies on the development of the countries in the region.
