Determining the Displacement of the Rotor Shaft in an Electrical Machine

Abstract

A device is developed for eliminating the displacement of the rotor shaft in electrical machines. The displacement is determined by measuring the transducer capacitance at four equidistant points around the circumference relative to the shaft.
