Consent to the Processing of Personal Data

The User of the website “National Platform of Periodical Scientific Publications”, in accordance with Federal Law No. 152-FZ of 27 July 2006 “On Personal Data”, acting freely, by their own will and in their own interest, and confirming their legal capacity, hereby gives this Consent to the processing of personal data (hereinafter referred to as the “Consent”) to the Federal State Budgetary Institution “Russian Center for Scientific Information” (hereinafter referred to as the “Operator”), primary state registration number (OGRN) 1037739411489, taxpayer identification number (INN/KPP) 7736064976/773601001, location: 32A Leninsky Prospekt, Moscow, 119991, Russian Federation.

  1. This Consent is given by the User on the website located on the Internet at https://journals.rcsi.science (hereinafter referred to as the “Website”).
  2. Acceptance of this Consent shall be constituted by activating the checkbox next to the text “I consent to the processing of personal data in accordance with  the Personal Data Processing Policy on the website of the National Platform of Periodical Scientific Publications journals.rcsi.science” and pressing the “Registration” button.
  3. The User consents to the processing of their personal data using automated means.
  4. The purposes of processing the Personal Data are:
    • creating a User account (registration) to access the Website’s resources;
    • identifying the User for the use of the Website and its services;
    • enabling the User to carry out scientific, literary or other creative activities;
    • establishing feedback with the User, including sending notifications and requests regarding the use of the Website, and processing requests, inquiries and applications from the User;
    • determining the User’s location to ensure security and prevent fraud;
    • notifying the User of new information posted on the Website, provided the User has consented to receive such notifications;
    • providing the User with effective customer and technical support in the event of problems related to the use of the Website;
    • statistical purposes;
    • other purposes established by the legislation of the Russian Federation.
  5. Consent is given for the processing of the following Personal Data:
    • last name, first name, patronymic;
    • gender;
    • email address;
    • phone number;
    • login;
    • IP address;
    • institution (name of the User’s place of work or study);
    • User’s signature;
    • postal address;
    • title, position, department;
    • author (co-author) of the scientific publication;
    • ORCID iD;
    • SPIN code;
    • Scopus Author ID.
  6. The User consents to the following actions with respect to personal data: collection, recording, systematisation, accumulation, storage, clarification (updating, modification), retrieval, use, transfer (distribution, provision, access), blocking, deletion, destruction.
  7. This Consent shall remain valid until the purposes of personal data processing are achieved or until it is revoked by the User. Consent may be revoked at any time by sending a notice to the Operator at the email address info@rcsi.science or by a written request sent to the following address: 32A Leninsky Prospekt, Moscow, 119991, RCSI, Russian Federation.
  8. The Operator shall have the right to unilaterally amend this Consent at any time by publishing a new text of the Consent on the Website. The new version of the Consent shall take effect upon its posting, unless otherwise provided in the new version.
  9. In all matters not regulated by this Consent, the parties shall be governed by the applicable legislation of the Russian Federation.

 

Consent to the Processing of Personal Data Using the Yandex.Metrica Service

  1. I (hereinafter referred to as the "User" or "Personal Data Subject"), by using the website https://journals.rcsi.science/ (hereinafter referred to as the "Website"), hereby confirming my full legal capacity, grant my consent to the processing of my personal data using automated means to the Operator – the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Russian Center for Scientific Information" (RCSI), located at 32A Leninsky Prospekt, Moscow, 119991, Russian Federation (hereinafter referred to as the "Operator"), under the following conditions.
  2. Categories of data processed: cookies. Cookies are small text files that a web server may store in the User's browser. The web server downloads these files to the User's device when the User visits the Website. Upon each subsequent visit by the User to the Website, the cookies are sent to the Operator's Website. These files enable the Website to recognise the User's device. The content of such a file may or may not constitute personal data, depending on whether it contains personal data or anonymised technical data.
  3. Purpose of processing personal data: analysis of user activity using the Yandex.Metrica service.
  4. Categories of personal data subjects: all Website Users who have given their consent to the processing of cookies.
  5. Methods of processing: collection, recording, systematisation, accumulation, storage, rectification (updating, modification), extraction, use, transfer (access, disclosure), blocking, erasure, destruction of personal data.
  6. Processing and storage period: until receipt of a request from the Personal Data Subject to cease processing / to withdraw consent.
  7. Method of withdrawal: a written statement of withdrawal sent to the Operator's email address: info@rcsi.science, or by written request sent to the Operator's legal address: 32A Leninsky Prospekt, Moscow, 119991, Russian Federation.
  8. The Personal Data Subject has the right to prohibit their device from receiving such data or to limit its reception. If the User refuses to receive such data or restricts its reception, certain functions of the Website may not operate correctly. The Personal Data Subject undertakes to configure their own device in such a manner as to ensure the operating mode and level of protection for cookie data that corresponds to their preferences. The Operator does not provide technological or legal advice on matters of this nature.
  9. The procedure for the destruction of personal data upon achieving the purpose of their processing or upon the occurrence of other legal grounds shall be determined by the Operator in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation.
