Aims and Scope
The Journal covers fundamental and applied research and provides Russian and foreign researchers, experts, graduate and postgraduate students with the opportunity to publish their research results.

The Journal "XXI century. Technosphere Safety" reviews and publishes scientific materials in the form of articles, short messages, and reviews in the following research fields (in accordance with the nomenclature of scientific specialties for which academic degrees are awarded approved by Orders No. 118 of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation of February 24 2021 (as amended by Orders of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation No. 886 of 27.09.2021 and No. 445 of 11.05.2022):

Peer Review Process
Journal “XXI century. Technosphere Safety” reviews all materials received by the editorial office that correspond to its topics for the purpose of their expert assessment. All materials received by the editors must be checked in the Antiplagiat system (www.antiplagiat.ru). The minimum threshold for originality of a text accepted for review is 70%. In case of non-compliance, a verification protocol is sent to the author to bring the text into compliance with this requirement.
The editorial board determines the article’s compliance with the journal’s profile and formatting requirements and sends it for review to a specialist, doctor or candidate of sciences who has the scientific specialization closest to the topic of the article. The reviewer cannot be the author or co-author of the manuscript being reviewed. The maximum review period is 1 month.
Reviewing is carried out anonymously.
If the review contains recommendations for correcting and finalizing the article, the person responsible for publishing the journal sends the text of the review to the author with a proposal to take into account the recommendations when preparing a new version of the article or to refute them with reason. The article revised by the author is re-submitted for review.
An article sent to the author for correction or reduction by email must be returned to the editors along with a letter from the author (indicating how the comments were taken into account) no later than one week after sending. Otherwise, the article is considered as newly received. The revised version of the article is reviewed and considered again. The date of submission of the article is considered to be the date of receipt of the revised version by the editor. An article that is not recommended for publication will not be accepted for re-consideration. A reasoned refusal is sent to the author by email. The editorial board does not enter into discussion with the authors of rejected articles.

The journal is an open access journal which means that everybody can read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of these articles in accordance with CC Licence.
