Resumo
The article analyzes the chronotopic structure of the novels by Henri Bordeaux “Les Roquevillard” and Henri Barbusse “Le Feu” and its role in the formation of their poetics with the help of comparative-typological, cultural-historical methods of analysis. The article poses questions concerning the dichotomous nature of space in novels under study as well as the nature of the influence of the chronotopic structure on the formation of the system of images of the novels - particularly on the creation of the correlative pair “individual - collective”.
