Abstract

The text is the conclusion of a two-part article devoted to the study of symbolic “suffering” of artifacts. In this publication, attention is paid to the vicissitudes that “survive” religious buildings, monuments of the Soviet era, as well as other objects. Specific situations of “suffering” are analyzed; their connection with the cultural context is indicated. The conclusion is made about the complexity and interdisciplinary nature of the studied problem and its perspectives in terms of scientific study.
