Аннотация
The article discusses the techniques of modelling of artistic space and time in the new novel by the famous modern Russian writer E. G. Vodolazkin “Chagin” (2022). In the center of the novel is the fate of the outstanding mnemonist Isidor Chagin, whose personality in many ways is contradictory and whose life period falls on a difficult period in the history of the country. The spatial-temporal relations in the novel are built around the main character, gradually dragging the narrator - the young archive worker Meshchersky into them.
