Abstract

The article considers the key concepts used by the author of the detective novel when describing the crime scene. Frame-by-frame text construction of the detective novel allows you to isolate details that stimulate the search for hidden meanings. This, in turn, performs a text-forming function and meets the canon crime. This frame-by-frame construction of the text also actualizes a “cinematography attribute” of detective novels.
