Abstract
currently, the goals of teaching foreign languages are becoming more in-depth and versatile in their structure. At the same time, the choice of teaching methods that contribute to the successful mastery of a foreign language plays an important role. This article examines the advantages of using linguistic theatrical techniques that allow students to activate creative thinking and improve their oral retelling skills. The author examines in detail the "Glottodrama" methodology and suggests exercises of this technique for effective teaching of foreign languages.
