Abstract
Veteran of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs A.S. Zaitsev presents documentary materials from the Archive of Foreign Policy of the Russian Federation, much of whic h has been declassified recently. These documents provide a more complete picture of the little-studied initial period of official relations between the USSR and Viet Nam.
