The book is intended for third-year students of the medical Institute. The authors focused on the characteristics of the most common research methods that give an idea of anatomical and, most importantly, functional disorders of the cardiovascular system. With the title of the book, they emphasize the importance of a comprehensive instrumental study of the functional state of the heart and blood vessels. At the same time, the authors do not overestimate the importance of instrumental diagnostics, fixing the attention of future doctors on the primacy of the anamnesis and the data of the physical examination of the patient. It is rightly emphasized that instrumental and physical data complement and enrich each other.
