Abstract
Background. The article describes the current direction of development of the domestic machine tool industry – the development and implementation of multi-coordinate machining centers. The main directions of improving multi-coordinate machining centers due to information-measuring and control systems are given. The necessity of using computer simulation modeling in designing control channels of information-measuring and control systems of multicoordinate machining centers is proved. Materials and methods. A simulation model of a servo electric drive (position control channel) based on a DC motor has been developed, including an actuator of the ball screw type. The developed model is made using the Simscape Mechanical library. Results and conclusions. The article presents the results of the study proving the operability of the developed models and the possibility of their application in designing control channels of information-measuring and control systems of multi-coordinate machining centers. The obtained results meet the requirements for metal-cutting equipment.
