Abstract
In the article the author analyzes the effect of the political factor on Germany’s energy policy. The main methods used are the system, institutional and content analyses. The article further elaborates on how Germany’s parliamentary parties view the decarbonization of the country’s economy. The author notes that highly politicized goal setting prevalent in the planning of green transition will harm Germany’s economic interests.
