This article is devoted to a critical analysis of the protection of the planet and, first of all, Russia from the threats associated with the presence in many countries, including around our country, of an extensive network of biological laboratories created with the direct participation of the Pentagon. It is noted that the storage of strains of dangerous microorganisms can act as an object of aspirations of intruders, in particular, terrorist organizations.

The article analyzes the use of the concept of «failed state», taking into account the peculiarities of the historical and political development of some countries. We are talking about modern Syria, Iraq. It is concluded that the «failed state» is an exclusively theoretical definition of political science. Method of research content-analysis of media and theoretical developments on the problem of “failed states”.

A researcher of international relations and foreign policy often faces the problem of finding the motivation of state actors, regulating their foreign policy behavior. Currently, one of the concepts for improving the understanding of these circumstances is a strategic culture. In this study, the strategic culture of Russia is considered through the prism of value-historical postulates, which are reflected in foreign policy doctrinal documents.

The article analyzes the history of the development of digital diplomacy as a tool of foreign policy. The definition of the term «digital diplomacy» is given, the history of the development of this phenomenon and its application in the current world order are studied. The main focus is on the use of methods of digital diplomacy by foreign ministries. Examples of the implementation of activities through digital diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation are considered; the current problems and prospects for the development of the department’s activities in the digital space of foreign policy are outlined.

The article is devoted to the life path of professor Ilya S. Kremer (1922-2020), a famous researcher on the history of European foreign affairs and on Germany of the 20th c. Ilya Kremer studied in the MSU, where he became a fellow-student to a bunch of historians well-recognized in the future. When the Great Patriotic War started in 1941, Ilya Kremer labored as a military industry worker. In 1943 he was drafted into the Red Army and finished the war in Berlin. The significant places in the biography of prof. I. S. Kremer are taken by his friendship with the figures of the German establishment, his guiding activity in the International Federation of the Resistance - the Anti-Fascist Association (FIR - AA), and his outstanding teaching activity lasted to the end of his life.

The article reveals the historical experience of the participation of the personnel of the troops of the NKVD of the USSR in the fight against Ukrainian nationalism during the Great Patriotic War, on the basis of archival materials and documentary sources. On the basis of archival documents, various forms of application and methods of actions of bodies and troops of the NKVD of the USSR, Chekist-military (special) operations involving various numbers of forces and means of law enforcement agencies of the state, as well as the order of interaction with state security agencies and military units of the Red Army in ensuring public security in the region are shown.

The article gives an objective idea of the content, main directions and goals of the current politics of memory in the Russian Federation. Numerous attempts to falsify Russian history are considered in the context of more general concepts of mental and information wars. The conclusions and results of the research are based on factual data and accompanied by expert opinions. The authors conclude that it is necessary for specialists of various profiles to develop information and educational technologies that are adequate to the threat.

The article is devoted to a general overview of the financial and economic situation of the Orthodox parish clergy of the Kazan diocese in the second half of the XIX - early XX centuries. His depressive, unstable, and dependent on a significant number of circumstances character is noted. In a way the parish clergy can be considered the most financially vulnerable part of the Russian society of the post-reform period with full confidence. Historical-genetic and historical-comparative methods were used in the preparation of the article. The archival sources presented in the work are being introduced into scientific circulation for the first time.

The loyalty of medical personnel is an important predictor of the effective operation of healthcare organizations. In order to determine the factors contributing to work loyalty, a sociological study was conducted in two infectious diseases hospitals in Moscow. It revealed an increase in the staff loyalty of the infectious disease service during the pandemic. The psycho-emotional environment in the personnel was a key factor that ensured growth. Predictors of the environment are personnel values, government support, relationships with management and patients. The study provides recommendations on how to increase loyalty of the medical workers.

The article discusses the factors influencing the formation of patriotism. The concept of "patriotism" is studied, and the mechanism of its upbringing among the younger generation is described. Recommendations are given to improve the effectiveness of actions aimed at the patriotic education of young people.

We will look at the differences between women and men in terms of motivation to participate in Olympic volunteering and their volunteering experience after Games. Based on the research materials (online survey (N = 332)), we will show that the motivation for participation in the practices of Olympic volunteering for women differs from that for men. Thus, women were more likely to work as volunteers for altruistic motives, while men were more likely to choose professional and selfish motives. Women have been less likely to take part in volunteering practices over the past year, but more often want to keep in touch with other volunteers.
