Free energy of creation: youth in the city metropolis
Abstract
Moscow is a point of attraction for the Russia’s young, which the appearance and implementation of the city’s new ideas are due to. Chairperson of Moscow Public Relations and Youth Policies Committee E. V. Dragunova speaks on what opportunities the city accords to younger generations for self-improvement and for participation in the Capital metropolis’ development. The “Moscow Youth” portal makes it possible for any young person to choose among 35 projects of various strands. The city renders support to youth initiatives offering venues to materialize ideas, helping to establish the necessary contacts. It is under the aegis of the Committee that cooperation of Moscow’s academic community representatives is thriving. Moscow offers university students to come on board of active city projects by way of entering internment programs in the Capital’s executive agencies. Cultural centers as cites for realization of the youth initiatives
Abstract
Associations of cultural centers is a new format of cultural institutions to come about in 2022. Henceforth libraries and cultural centers of one administrative district work within the framework of a unified cultural agenda which helps them make their services more easily accessible and having a larger outreach of the youth audience. In the North-Eastern Administrative District The new association started its activities based on its already existing groundwork in terms of audience outreach and accumulated best practices of carrying out youth sociocultural projects. The association actively interacts with youth via social media and aims at developing the most sought-after modes of cultural and pastime activities. To name just a few, those are theatrical projects, one project to support the gaming industry, a sociocultural project aimed at attracting specialists into the capital’s cultural institutions. The renewed cultural environment affords a whore array of opportunities to a young Muscovite of either to become a guest at various cultural events, or a participant, or even – a co-author of a project. Everyone has now access to the possibility of creating one’s own route and to pursue one’s own way along with the developing city.



Ethnocultural education of the young: Capital metropolis projects
Abstract
Russia has always been and still remains the land of many languages and many cultures with representatives of many ethnic groups residing in its Capital. Several cultural and educational projects for school and university students are being realized in the city today with participation of Moscow Government Departments, schools, universities and non-commercial organizations. The projects are spearheaded at widening knowledge about the diversity of Russian society, they are also means of addressing the tasks of civil and patriotic as well as spiritual and moral upbringing of the young, help strengthening horizontal and intergenerational ties within the social medium. Taking part in these projects is instrumental in bringing about realization of the values of Russia’s cultural space diversity together with consolidating inter-ethnic peace and harmony.



Youth-oriented sociocultural projects in Moscow Metropolitan Governance Yury Luzhkov University
Abstract
Efficiency of youth training is used to be estimated today according to the bearing of youth projects on the city and the lives of citizens. Universities are leaning on time-honored approaches, as well as on those to take hold of current trends in agenda. Moscow Metropolitan Governance Yury Luzhkov University tackles the task of training future managers particularly through getting the students involved in sociocultural projecting. Moscow technoparks: management and legal status
Abstract
As scientific, design, research and innovation activities are widening and reach new levels of sophistication, new institutions emerge with technoparks at the fore of the process and spearheaded at development of cutting-edge technologies. The booming evolvement of technoparks in Russia starts in 2007, with particular intensity in Moscow – in the technological heart of the nation. The technoparks are instrumental to the growth of the labor market due to the emergence of novel occupational spheres, they open up opportunities for complementary professional education. Based on the Federal Law new requirements were introduced with regard to setting up technoparks, as well as measures of their support, including various fringe benefits for participants. Technoparks play out as the launching grounds for those companies that find difficulties in bringing their developments to the market on their own. In this sense technoparks serve as “incubators” of sorts to hatch scientific brain power. Moscow’s technoparks, among having other tasks on their minds, aim at teaching children how to master new technologies, open up opportunities for Moscow student’s participation in the works of innovation movers and shakers.



Features of Sri Lanka’s educational system

Moscow Metropolitan Governance Yury Luzhkov University is true to its tradition of making cooperation with foreign partners. This interaction makes possible the exchange of best practices in public administration and broaden the content of the University’s educational programs. Ambassador of Sri Lanka to the Russian Federation Professor J. A. Liyanage in her interview to the Herald shared her thoughts on the current problems that educational system of Sri Lanka has been facing in recent years, on solutions offered by the Government to raise the general level of education in the country. The measures are described that under of the specific conditions in the country allow to provide modern knowledge and competences to the young and to bring up generations of socially active citizens. Among active projects several ones named – a national program for rural schools, TV educational “Nenasa Rupavahini” series, “E-Thaksalawa” learning platform, “Nenasa” universal mobile educational application. The Embassy of Sri Lanka helps Sri Lankan and Russian universities and schools to establish relations of partnership in the field of education.

Professional development of Moscow transport specialists: program of professional retraining
Abstract
Transit system projects of colossal magnitude and sophistication are being realized in Russia’s Capital. To manage processes going at high speeds top notch specialists are needed, who know all the ins and out of the Capital Metropolis transit system. Moscow Transport Corporate University in collaboration with Moscow Government University have built the competences model of Moscow Transit System managerial staff, developed and launched an educational program for managers. The training is adapted to the specifics of the Capitals transportation and provides for the growth of Moscow’s effective managers’ pool.

Course in business correspondence in the civil service: new teaching formats
Abstract
No organization in the world can operate without business correspondence. Most often the speed of decision-making, results of a partnership discussions are a direct function of the quality of business letter writing. Therefore, employees in charge of business correspondence must be skilled in articulate, concise, accurate and polite manner of putting in black and white the matter in hand. Starting in 2021 students in on-campus professional development programs at Moscow Metropolitan Governance Yury Luzhkov University master their skills of business correspondence. In 2023 the idea was voiced to create an e-learning course with analogous subject matter in order to increase access to the learning the subject for all interested Moscow Government employees, as well as its subordinate organizations. The new educational product was to fully conform to the goals of the in-class program. In the course of several months the University specialists were creating the new text content, assignments complete with real fieldnotes extracts from business correspondence practices in public sector structures. In December 2023 the e-learning course named “Written communication: how to make business letters work” was commissioned in pilot format.

Abstract
The popularization of contemporary national science to the country’s young represents one of the pressing issues of today. Student scientific associations (or societies) involving promising young people in research and project making activities play an active role in it indeed. Members of the association at Moscow Metropolitan Governance Yury Luzhkov University organize educational events for students, take part in major city and federal projects. Students research societies through their activities do increase the potential of scientific research and technological developments domain in Russia, make their contributions into the process of broadening the country’s talent pipeline.
