Abstract
The aim of the study is to show that the voicing of a written text is a discursive interaction of two materially different substances, each of which has its own cognitive mechanism for the formation of meaning and the specificity of its signification. The objectives of the study are to obtain and analyze linguistic material illustrating the interaction of oral and written channels in a situation where they demonstrate different determining potential when voicing a scientific written text: reading a text from a sheet of paper and a speech based on it in formal circumstances. The observability and measurability of the empirical properties of voiced texts will allow us to consider the main generation strategies that led to their creation. The results can be used in the practice of teaching foreign languages.
