SPEECH INTRODUCERS IN GIORGIO BASSANI'S NOVEL “IL GIARDINO DEI FINZI-CONTINI” AND ITS TRANSLATION INTO RUSSIAN

In the article, based on the material of one of the key Italian novels of the XX century, Il giardino dei Finzi-Contini, J. Bassani and his translation into Russian consider predicative elements introducing reported foreign speech. The purpose of this work is to determine the role and degree of influence of introducers on the reader in the context of the transmitted speech in Italian and Russian texts. The comparative method will allow to identify lexical, semantic and syntactic features that affect the perception of the transmitted speech by the Italian and Russian readers and determine the causes of inconsistencies between the introducers in the original and the translation. The results of the study will be reflected in the classification of introducers, derived on the basis of lexico-semantic, syntactic and pragmatic analysis.
