Names of heavenly bodies in the anthroponymic system of the Turkish language
Abstract
this article is the first attempt to describe the names of celestial bodies in the anthroponymic system of the Turkish language in connection with the cult of the sky, which is also directly connected with the Cosmos. Personal names with ancient cosmogonic beliefs are based on historical facts. Borrowed Turkic names, which entered the Turkish language with the adoption of Islam, did not cause the disappearance of names associated with the pagan tradition. In each historical period, personal names have always preserved and conveyed valuable information to future generations in the field of linguoculturology.

Features and evolution of Chinese and Russian euphemisms
Abstract
euphemism is a common linguistic phenomenon, and plays an important role in communication. During the communication, euphemism is used in almost all fields. To some extent, euphemism can influence whether the communication is successful or not. When language came into being, euphemism emerged accordingly. As a mixture of language and cultural phenomena, euphemism is irreplaceable in interpersonal communication. Due to differences in cultural backgrounds and language systems, language learners often fail in cross-cultural communication due to improper use of euphemisms. This paper analyzes the connotation and causes of euphemisms, compares the similarities and differences between Russian and Chinese euphemisms, reveals the characteristics of the historical changes of euphemisms in the development of the times, deepens the understanding of Chinese and Russian people about the cultures of both sides, and promotes the cross-cultural exchanges between China and Russia.

Crimean realities in the travel notes of Aubrey de la Mothre
Abstract
the article examines the peculiarities of transferring the realities of a "foreign" linguistic culture into their native language at a certain stage of historical development. The research material was travel notes by the French and British traveller Aubrey de la Mothre about his trip to the Crimean Peninsula in 1712 and published in English in 1724. The image of the peninsula created by Aubrey de la Mothre is characterised by mosaic, combining geographical, historical, ethnographic and subjective elements. The realities in his work are represented by toponyms, ethnonyms, onyms. The specifics of de la Mothre's transfer of Crimean realities are the use of Latin names of toponyms known to Western Europeans at that time and transliteration/transcription into English of realities of Turkic origin. Proper names of Crimean Tatar origin are the most difficult to identify due to the significant differences in the phonological and spelling bases of the English and Crimean Tatar languages. The results of the study can serve as a basis for further research on ways to reproduce Crimean realities in Western European languages in various historical periods, as well as a comparative historical analysis of the possibilities of transmitting "alien" realities in various linguistic cultures.

The history of studying the vocabulary of the Turkish language in comparative historical coverage
Abstract
the study of Turkish vocabulary in the context of comparative history is an extremely important direction in Turkology, which allows us to reveal patterns in the development of the lexical and semantic structure of the language. During the research, ancient written monuments such as the Orkhon texts are analyzed and a comparative analysis with other Turkic languages is carried out. Special attention is paid to the influence of Arabic, Persian and Mongolian languages on the vocabulary of the Ottoman and modern Turkish languages. Phonetic and semantic transformations in words are also studied, as well as the features of word formation characteristic of the Oghuz branch of the Turkic languages. The comparative historical approach allows for a deeper understanding of the historical interactions of the Turkic peoples with other linguistic groups. The works of European and Russian scientists of the 19th-20th centuries laid the foundations for the scientific study of the Turkish language. Modern research continues to expand our knowledge of the processes of vocabulary evolution and language interaction. This approach contributes to a deeper understanding of the development of the Turkish language and its unique lexical features. In general, this article on the comparative historical study of the vocabulary of the Turkish language can contribute to the deepening of knowledge about the language, its history and connections with other cultures, as well as find application in education, linguistics and cultural research.

Analysis of intonation design of speech etiquette units in a phonetics course for Chinese students
Abstract
since intonation is one of the main phonetic means of forming a speech utterance and is a set of prosodic components involved in the division and organization of the speech flow in accordance with the meaning of the transmitted message, the article analyzes the intonation design of speech etiquette units in a practical phonetics course for Chinese students. The method of comparative analysis involves identifying similarities and differences in the intonation level of the Russian and Chinese languages. It is concluded that when identifying differences with articulatory and acoustic features of sounds when expressing different emotional states in the design of speech etiquette units, intonation is used not only as a linguistic means, but also serves to convey the speaker's attitude to what he says. Intonation conveys both the emotional state of the speaker (his elated or depressed mood) and the features of his personal, individual design.

Structural and semantic features of cognitive metaphor in political discourse
Abstract
the article is devoted to the study of the structural and semantic features of cognitive metaphor in political discourse using the example of modern political texts of English-speaking statesmen. The relevance of the study is determined by the lack of knowledge and fragmentary coverage of the structural and semantic features of cognitive metaphor in political discourse, which represent the basis for corpus research of metaphorical contexts. As a result of the empirical study, it was established that the structural and semantic features of cognitive metaphor contribute to a broader understanding of the conceptual picture of the world, in which the center of the world is a person, and the picture of the world itself is anthropocentric.
