Since 2015 by the decision of the State Commission for Academic Degrees and Titles the journal is included in the list of leading peer-reviewed scientific journals and publications recommended for publication of the main scientific results of dissertations for the degrees of Doctor of Sciences and Candidate of Sciences.
The journal is intended for researchers, university lecturers, students and graduate students.
Aims & Scope
The central aim of the journal is to highlight the intermediate and completed results of the latest scientific research in the area of in the theory and history of philosophy, social philosophy, psychology and pedagogy, contributing to the development of research and educational activities.
The journal publishes scientific reviews and peer reviews.
Journal Themes. The journal publishes research articles in all major branches of philosophy, psychology and pedagogy:
- The journal publishes articles on ontological, epistemological, historical-philosophical topics, covers problems of social and political philosophy, issues of philosophical anthropology, philosophy of culture and religion.
- The journal accepts publications on general psychology, personality psychology, history of psychology, educational psychology; social, political, economic, clinical psychology.
- The journal publishes articles on topics of general pedagogy, the history of pedagogy and education, theory and methods of teaching and upbringing, vocational education.
The journal’s objectives are:
- operational familiarization of the scientific humanitarian community with the intermediate and completed results of the latest research in the field of theory and history of philosophy, social philosophy, psychology, pedagogy
- dissemination on the territory of Russia, the CIS countries and far abroad of information about scientific developments carried out by scientists-humanities of the Volga region, the formation of scientific schools and directions around the journal, information support for priority scientific research
- discussion of debatable problems of didactic content and new forms of university humanities (philosophical, psychological, pedagogical) education
Only original, previously unpublished articles are accepted for publication.
Papers should be designed in accordance with the rules of the journal.
Publications are free of charge.
The languages of publications are Russian and English.
The journal is peer-reviewed (see Peer review procedure) and then the Editorial Board decides on the possibility of their publication in the journal.
For the observance of the rights and obligations of authors, «The license agreement for the right to use scientific work» is concluded between the authors and the publisher of the journal "Izvestiya of Saratov University. Philosophy. Psychology. Pedagogy".
Digital archiving policy.
In order to ensure the preservation, usability and accessibility of the journal content (journal and article metadata, the full texts of the articles) for long term availability the following systems are used:
- The journal content on our server is online and accessible to the readers. (https://phpp.sgu.ru/en/journal/issues)
- The copy of the same content is kept at the electronic library systems eLIBRARY.ru and Cyberleninka, where an advanced search can be carried out by journal articles (by keywords, author, title, section).
Self-archiving. Authors are allowed to archive preprints and postprints of their works. After publication, the authors may place their works on the Internet (for example, in the repository of a working organization or a personal website).
