The article tackles the problem of lingua franca in professional legal communication as well as language pedagogy foundations of foreign language training in the legal sphere. Analyzing the situation of co-learning of English and Chinese in the context of lawyers’ intercultural interaction, the author concludes that further work is necessary to improve the teaching methods and tools to adapt them to the needs of the legal reality in the 21st century.

Characteristics of Emotional Intelligence in Mastering a Foreign Language by Teenage Cadets

The relationship between the parameters of emotional intelligence and foreign language competencies (listening, speaking, reading, writing) with the participation of adolescent cadets is theoretically substantiated and empirically proven. The results obtained are consistent with the previously accepted ideas about interpersonal communication in mastering a foreign language and for the first time reveal the role of emotional intelligence in teaching a foreign language to adolescent cadets, which has both theoretical and practical significance.

The Relationship Between Empathy and Changes in Pupil Diameter When Perceiving Photo Images of Various Categories

The article presents the results of a research aimed at testing the hypothesis of the relationship between changes in pupil diameter when perceiving photo images of various categories and the peculiarities of empathy. The research involved 62 subjects whose pupil diameters were recorded using an eye tracker. Patterns of change in pupil diameter were revealed for three groups of subjects with different ratios of empathy structural components.

1. Я (далее – «Пользователь» или «Субъект персональных данных»), осуществляя использование сайта https://journals.rcsi.science/ (далее – «Сайт»), подтверждая свою полную дееспособность даю согласие на обработку персональных данных с использованием средств автоматизации Оператору - федеральному государственному бюджетному учреждению «Российский центр научной информации» (РЦНИ), далее – «Оператор», расположенному по адресу: 119991, г.
