Abstract
The article addresses the issue of safe personality behavior in postmodern settings. Analyzing the views of famous philosophers on the problem of safe behavior of the individual in the postmodern era, the author concludes that the search for security in the postmodern is possible through the achievement of, firstly, subjective security, when in the absence of objective truths, the person can strive for subjective security through the development of critical thinking, introspection, empathy and dialogue with others. Secondly, through the development of sociocultural flexibility, which is manifested in the ability to adapt to various sociocultural contexts and accept a variety of worldviews and, accordingly, contribute to strengthening personal security in the postmodern era.

About reading, the culture of reading and their reflection in the content of theoretical general professional disciplines of the library studies and bibliography cycle
Abstract
In memory of Arkady Sokolov
As humanity enters the digital age, reading culture is at a turning point. Manifestations of the transformation of reading have been observed over the past twenty years, but no one has undertaken to predict the prospects for reading and its status in the future. This controversial issue is often accompanied by cultural pessimism (the end of book culture is near), predictions of diversification of specific media (print culture will find its new niche), and technological optimism (digital innovation lies ahead). In the context of these discussions, we can talk about a paradoxical discrepancy: the documentary stream is replete with discussions, research on digital technologies, digital culture, digital transformation of society, etc., but reveals a lack of information on the culture of reading in general, the culture of reading in the modern situation and their reflection in the content of librarian training.
The article represents reflections on the transformation of the reading culture, the realities of digital reading in the modern world, the form of their reflection in library and bibliographic theory, including on the basis of a generalization of the experience of library staff training.
